About the Breeder

Hi, I’m Whitney MacLeod, and my journey with Border Collies began in my childhood, growing up in Kentucky. My grandparents had a loyal Border Collie named Sabrina, who left an unforgettable mark on my life.

At Emerald Breeze Coastal Collies, we raise our puppies in a loving, family-oriented environment. Our dogs are part of our family, alongside our children and cat, and the puppies are well-socialized from a young age. They’re exposed to all the important sights and sounds of home life—vacuums, dishwashers, and the everyday hustle. Positive reinforcement and play-based training are at the core of how we raise them.

After spending years working outside the home, 2020 gave me the opportunity to finally pursue my dream of raising Border Collies. Now, I’m proud to help other families bring these incredible dogs into their lives and experience the same joy and connection I’ve found with Aspen and Auri.
